I've had some decent success lately in the super turbo KO tournaments on FTP. I finished 11th in the $15 5k gtd....A4s with about 9bbs into AK. and a 9th in the 6.50 super, ran QJ into AQ. just annnnoying. 4.4k for the $15 for 1st , so close.
Also had a nice finish in the new RUSH tournaments....down to 3 I get JJ on the button, boom right into KK gg. I've had a bunch of other semi deep finishes but nothing is materializing. I've been playing both $5 rebuys on stars and ftp and pretty sure I need to settle down. I'm putting $50+ in each almost every other night. maybe i shouldnt be opening shoving AQ during rebuy hour? just need some more control i find myself tilting and just shoving with bullshit to try and double up and usually in for 6 buy ins and then bust half way thru the 2nd hour.
had a nice run in the $22 6-max on stars...we had about 20 or left and i was sitting 3rd in chips with about 90k. Lost a big pot when some douchebag called a 12bb 3 bet with A3 and I had AK...flop AA3. doubled up. lost chips. had KQs on the button, raise...weak 3 bet from BB, i re shove he calls with 78o..hits 8....i ended up getting some chips back but that was about 125k in chips that 2 fucking idiots had. i got to the final table and was a little short....dude raised, i 3 bet my 27bb stack with 55 and he shoved over top....called...aj....a on flop gg 6th place. choke city.
Also i played an FTOPS last night, the $109 Stud Hi/Lo. very weak field and i'm kinda pissed i didnt do better. i built a nice stack the first 3.5 hours and then donked away on a draw...112 paid i was out 153. i was short but had enough chips to get away from the hand when he paired his K with another K. blahhh pissed me off.
the team comp is going alright...up and down from 2nd to 6th and in between. still waiting on the updated info because some of my scores havent been added. SCOOP starts sunday so hopefully we ship one of them? one time?
April was pretty solid. My best my by far. Had some nice cashes and even won a tournament. oh oh been getting pretty decent at heads up too. I've made the final 2 tables a couple times but just havent ran too good and have my hand hold up. Going to watch some more videos to get my middle/end game sharp, seems to be slacking, building sicko deep stacks and spewing them all over the fucking place, somethign isnt right. Maybe unlucky but that can only take you so far. always need to improve.
anyways...from what sharkscope is saying..witout sattys...i played 374 MTTs and and 112 SNGs(losing about $120 on sngs)
April goal was for 150 mtts and 300 sng/mtts. looks like we reversed it....i cant get enough of these MTTs anymore so my whole focus has been on them. esp with this competition my motivation factor is pretty high right now. now if i can ship me a scoop or miniftops that would be great.
Event 1 and 2 for SCOOP start sunday..$22 6max and $22 2-day event. GL.
